Smart Manufacturing — Building a More Sustainable Model for People and the Environment
Aurora established its Jiangsu Smart Industrial Park in Nantong, expanding robotics and upgrading manufacturing through connected equipment, transparent processes, and data-driven management. Integrating automation, digitalization, intelligent manufacturing, and green practices, the park officially opened in 2024 and achieved LEED Gold Certification.
Green & Low-Carbon — Advancing ECO PLUS and Greener Industry Standards
In support of ESG goals and China’s carbon-peaking and carbon-neutrality targets, Aurora applies Cradle to Cradle (C2C) and 3R principles — Reduce, Recycle, Reuse — throughout product design and manufacturing. Initiatives include recycled PET and ocean-recycled fabrics, modular design, and lower-impact materials to reduce lifecycle carbon emissions. Aurora products have achieved GREENGUARD Certification, while selected steel, wood, and upholstered products have undergone carbon-footprint assessments and received carbon-neutral certification.
Formaldehyde-Free Materials for Healthier Workplaces
In 2022, Aurora Furniture entered a strategic partnership with Wanhua Chemical to promote healthier, formaldehyde-free workplace solutions.
At the R&D level, new materials and technologies are integrated into product development to improve environmental performance. At the manufacturing level, Aurora uses Wanhua’s MDI-based formaldehyde-free adhesives to support greener furniture production and healthier workplace environments.

In 2023, Aurora served as a principal drafting organization for the Shanghai Guidelines for Furniture Suppliers in Group Procurement.位
